The Redox family of chemicals is routinely used in the treatment of heavy metals in a variety of matrices.  These include soils, ground water and remediation wastes.

Research has demonstrated that COPREX and FerroBlack have both been successful in the reduction of hexavalent chromium in COPR -laden waste. 

Soil Remediation Sites

Soil and groundwater remediation sites are treated effectively and completely using Redox reagents. Several state and federal environmental agencies have already approved the use Redox reagents.

In -Situ / Ex -Situ

Redox reagents can be used for ex-situ or in-situ application.  In ex-situ applications the reagents can be bottom dropped, pug- milled or mixed in a stockpile with an excavator. In-situ applications include soil mixing with caisson augers or injection into wells or soils.
